I was never raised in an english speaking community. My first words as a baby are puke, bayag and kantot. My english teachers in elementary are hard-core Bisayas e.g. rollers (rulers), spurts (spirits), polinlayn (fall in line). I live in the outskirts of San Juan, Bulacan for christ’s sake! Tagalog is the shiznit y’all!! As much as i want to speak and write english, i still end up with engrish. My background foundation is not strong enough. But heaven knows i tried sir!

Your worth as a person is not measured by how much you know about the rules of grammar. Those things are technical. Although confidence is developed when you master a foreign language. And confidence is one of the best trait a person can have. Now i’m contradicting myself.

From now on, i’ll blog in english. I need to polish my english because classes are about to resume again. My english prof once told me that i lack a distinct style in writing (in english that is). Now i need to develop that. Maybe i’ll blog in Filipino once in a while but i’ll try to blog in english for a month or two or forever. Aktuli, the main reason i’ll blog in english is because i got rejected from smorty. lols. I really, really want to earn something from blogging. Well at least, bring back the 500 pesos i paid for my domain name. Really, i’m so broke and desperate right now, i consider prostitution an option right now.

This blog will be a place where the laws of grammar do not apply. Be it so.
