Tumblr and books

April26

Wooo finally, i gave in. I created a tumblr account. You can follow me at prekprek.tumblr.com teehee! I’ll be more active on that one because this site is infected with err, term life insurance.

Anyhow, Updates, updates. Finished reading Haruki Murakami’s After Dark Novel. Seriously Murakami, if you’re reading this, it’s boring. You failed me for the first time. Hehe, but don’t worry, i’ll still buy your books. Actually i’m planning to buy The Elephant Vanishes some time soon.

Also, finished Ricky Lee’s Para kay B. Maybe this is the culprit why i find After Dark boring. Finished it right after i finished Murakami so yeah… It’s a nice book. The book is actually a gift for TL, but i got tempted, opened it, and read it, and finished it in one sitting. HEHE. Very inspiring, especially for those who are in love and heartbroken alike. Read it.

Mybrute tips tricks cheats

April16

You know what’s keeping me busy these past few days? Mybrute. Here’s my account: prekprek.mybrute.com. It’s like the greatest invention to kill boredom. You don’t have to be the greatest player out there, all you need is luck. Haay! Some players have bears, dogs and wolves and they’ll beat the pulp out of you.

I’m trying to decipher some tricks in this game. Some people say that your tools, weapons and pets depend on the right combination of letters in your name. Some say it’s the costume.

I don’t know really. So? Wanna beat me up because i stole your girlfriend or because you’re jealous? Play mybrute. Or, buy a plasma mount for your TV!

Eksena Manila

June1

The Foodcourt musical by ImprovEverywhere

Improv Everywhere causes scenes of chaos and joy in public places. Created in August of 2001 by Charlie Todd, Improv Everywhere has executed over 70 missions involving thousands of undercover agents. The group is based in New York City.

Improv Everywhere decided to go for world domination so they started to go global. Chapters around the globe sprung like mushrooms and made scenes around them. Of course Philippines, a newly industrialized nation, third-world-no-more and actively responding to the demands of the rapidly changing society decided to join the fun hence the birth of Eksena Manila.

The Philippines based Eksena Manila is a group of young developing community of 100 [and counting] agents in the process of establishing their name and reputation to match the global Improv standards, inspired by New York, USA’s Improv Everywhere.

Our only goal is to make scenes across Manila that bring innocent fun, wild chaos and joy to every Pinoy when they least expect it, generally through a profound act and utter absurdity. While missions can get wild, weird and wonderful they will always be harmless bliss that will leave confusion and will keep them engrossed in our dimension to share stories and great memories to treasure.

I joined the 3rd mission: LRT Chorale. IT WAS LOOOL! The mission is for agents to sing inside the LRT Station from Betty Go-Belmonte to V. mapa. We sang Maling Akala by the Eraserheads. My heart is pounding the minute i stepped inside the train. People of different color, size and shape were in there. The first thing i did was to look for someone i know. Good thing, there’s none! The nerves diminished as i sang my heart out! The construction-worker-looking guy stared at me as though i’m flipping out. I was flipping out. The emo boys at the back cart of the train were dancing and tapping along with us. I even heard one say “Ayos sa trip ah… Que sera sera naman sunod!” Lol. Here’s a teaser of our LRT Chorale mission: Enjoy!

Manila FX drivers

May7

Driver 1: 2-0, 2-0 mo?

Driver 2: Ahhh, Zebra, sa may INC may 1-6 ah. 5-3, 5-3, roger.

Driver 1: 142 copy, 10-8 ako diyan, tango-tango dito.

Driver 2: Charlie Fox ka diyan INC, marami yellow boys diyan

Driver 1: Oscar Kilo. Copy.

Enjoy:

From Ilocos, with love.

April15

I tell you, Ilocos Norte is love. The food, the weather, the history, its people. I have nothing but praise for everything Ilocos. I would like to thank, with utmost appreciation, the royal Lazo family for gracefully hosting our trip. The Lazo family is one of the oldest, and if i may add but not quite parenthetically the richest in Ilocos. HECK! They even have their own family coat of arms! The stereotypes of Ilocanos being stingy when it comes to money is NOT true. I enjoyed every bit of my 3-4 days in Ilocos… it would be impossible for me not to come back there anytime.

Paoay Church

Paoay Church! Woohoo

I’m not gonna blog about the whole trip, coz y’know what happens in Ilocos stays in Ilocos. But all i can say is… it was a BLAST! And when i say blast, it’s putok! Pagudpod, Paoay church, windmills, lighthouse, Burgos, Graciano, the Empanadas, Bagnets, Dinuguans, Fort Ilocandia… and Cathy Lao. LOLZ! Oh, and it was my first time to hold a gun of another man. I mean, the Caliber 40 and M-16. AAAhhh, i’m having multiple orgasm typing these. Reminiscing what happened in Ilocos makes me… mushy. LOL! I want to go back there!

Pagudpod

Pagudpod. Ehehe, lookie loookie at my body. Protruding nipples! LOLZ!

The day before i went there, i prepared for everything. I got my Jansport Bag and another duffel bag but… as i was on my way to our meeting place, I realized that i forgot the duffel bag at home! It contain 3 shorts, slippers, toothpaste, shampoo but nothing major. Good thing fatass Mikwho lent me his excess shorts, though it’s quite big! Yes folks, I’m that absent-minded. Or excited. I don’t care, i had fun.

So people, minions, visit Ilocos Norte. It’s all worth it. (See! I can totally give SOME TRAVEL BLOGS OUT THERE a run for their money! LOL!)
