Last entry made me reminisce the old days of my HB blog. The time when i’m still young, wild and carefree. The era when bloggers don’t blog about diet pills. Before some schmuck revolutionized blogging as an orc ladden community. At that time, i blog because it gives me the opportunity to vent out my frustrations and at the same time entertain pips with my life of fail. Of course, all good things must come to an end when the persona ate the author.

As my tagline ‘walang magawa sa buhay since 1989′ would suggest, I was known before as a Humor blogger. Someone who writes about how boring his life is or was for that matter. Of course, humor is relative. Humor is something that can never be learned in the four walls of a classroom. It’s just there inside all of us, though some don’t know how to channel it.

It’s interestingly weird that there is no category of “humor blog” in the Philippine blog awards. Is the subject of humor that vast to be not included on the list? Are these types of blog suppose to be on the personal, entertainment, or hobbies and recreation perhaps? It’s a good thing actually. Sometimes, the magic of humor is gone when a reader knows that it is humor.

Badoodles’ search of the best humor blog of 2008 is sheer genius. I’ve been hearing about it for the past few months and lurking silently. It’s of good faith to find the best humor blog, but the competition became so big that it became a highschool popularity contest. Some blogs on the list are not even funny; just popular. But of course, as i’ve said, humor is relative. Inday jokes? what a joke.

Here are my list.

I was suppose to vote for Pedronggwapo because the blog is lol, but he transfered to a new domain. Maybe next year Pedro. Maybe next year.
